Musonda Kapatamoyo

Professor of Advanced Multimedia, SIUE

With 17 years of experience as a professor, I hold a PhD and MA from Ohio University, an MBA in Business Analytics from SIUE, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Zambia. My primary aim is to educate upcoming professionals in the realm of advanced computer and multimedia technologies.


My expertise spans web development, data mining, and analysis, utilizing tools such as HTML5, CSS, Adobe Cloud, PHP, jQuery, Bootstrap, Visual Studio, MySQL, MSSQL, WordPress, RapidMiner, and API development. These skills drive both my teaching and research, allowing me to innovate and address practical challenges. Additionally, I offer guidance to ATEMI Corp, a web solutions company I founded in 2002.


Moreover, I am a three time Paul Harris Fellow and the District Governor Nominee for Rotary International District 6460 in Illinois. I actively contribute to the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) for the City of Edwardsville, and serve on the boards of the SIUE Credit Union and The Lynne F. Solon Foundation.
