Founder + Artistic Director, NEU ER WORLD
Nyara Williams is an interdisciplinary artist, director, and photographer - by way of st.louis
In the realm of directing, photography, and event production, my passion is crafting immersive experiences. No matter the medium, a common thread in my work is preserving Black futures, spaces, and stories by dreaming up explorative, creative, and imaginary spaces that we can not only see ourselves in, but thrive in.
When I'm not working on projects for clients, I'm building up NEU ER WORLD as the Executive + Artistic Director of an innovative studio in St. Louis. Here, I curate a world of shared intimate experiences and media services, seamlessly blending art, music, film, food, photography, merchandise, and events.
From founding Black.Clothing in 2015 to 2023's NEU ER WORLD, I work to consistently build + uphold a legacy by creating spaces that affirm, and integrate joy, softness + healing.
