With over a decade of experience in biotechnology and plant science, I am passionate about creating innovative solutions for environmental and social challenges. As the founder of Sage Advice Consulting, I help clients build science programs, improve their products, and generate external communications that showcase their impact and value.

Previously, I was the VP of Biotechnology at Running Tide, a company that uses macroalgae to sequester carbon and restore ocean ecosystems. There, I led a team of scientists and technicians in two locations, overseeing research and product development, managing budgets, reviewing and disseminating scientific results, and prioritizing projects. I also advised the executive team on genetic and biological science, and established a research lab in St. Louis, MO. I have a PhD in Plant Science from The University of Georgia, and multiple honors and awards for my research and communication.
