Connecting STL Industry Experts with Rising Leaders

In the fast-paced world of digital transformation, tech accelerators, and online certifications, one intervention still outperforms them all: the honest, human mentoring relationship. TechSTL Bridge pairs 100 mentors with 100 mentees in each of our two tracks — Founder and Career — for six months of structured, one-on-one guidance built on trust, candor, and real accountability.

This isn’t a networking event or a resume workshop. It’s a relationship-first program designed to help founders build stronger businesses and rising professionals grow into their next chapter. Applications are open now for the Fall Cohort that starts on September 15th.

PARTICIPATE IN THE FALL 2026 COHORT (APPLY BY SEPT 1)

Recruiting 200 Mentors + 200 Mentees

Mentees - Founder Track

For entrepreneurs building and scaling a business. Matched with mentors experienced in business and entrepreneurship who’ve navigated the same climbs — fundraising, go-to-market, product-market fit, and the mindset shifts that come with each stage. TechSTL Bridge also works in tandem with AngelLAB, connecting founders to new funders.

(Founder Track facilitated by Paul Heirendt)

Mentees - Tech Career Track

For rising professionals growing their careers. Matched with mentors experienced in business and technology leadership who can help sharpen skills, expand networks, and navigate an evolving workplace. TechSTL Bridge supports career advancement. It is not a job placement program and does not address unemployment services.

WHAT GREAT MENTORING LOOKS LIKE

Built on Trust, Not Transactions

Clear expectations from day one

Every pairing sets goals, boundaries, and a communication rhythm together.

Consistent contact, Mentee-led agendas

Monthly touchpoints, at a minimum — the mentee drives the conversation.

A two-way Exchange

Mentors bring experience; mentees bring fresh perspective. Both sides walk away sharper.

Focus on mindset, not just tactics

The highest-value conversations go beyond strategy to the patterns underneath them.
