Announcing the TechSTL STEM Scholarship Fund
Invested in Upward Mobility & Growing Diversity in St. Louis STEM
TechSTL recently partnered with the St. Louis Community Foundation to launch a Foundation and Scholarship Fund to catalyze the innovation pipeline of the Greater St. Louis. The TechSTL Scholarship Fund will provide postsecondary scholarships to increase accessibility to computer science, data analytics, design, and IT business operations degree programs and certificates for diverse communities of the Metro. Eligible students will live in the 15-county St. Louis MSA and demonstrate unmet financial need at the postsecondary school they attend. Scholarships will be awarded to students who are members of historically excluded communities in the tech fields (women, BIPOC, foreign born, LGBTQIA, rural, and disabled). Each recipient will enroll full-time in an accredited, nonprofit, technical/trade school, two-year college, or four-year college/university in the Greater St. Louis Metro.
Donate to the STEM Scholarship Fund to increase diversity in the St. Louis tech workforce by supporting more IT and data economy education opportunities obtained within historically underrepresented communities.

Our Five Year Strategy
In October of 2022, TechSTL released its 5X5 Blueprint that outlines their three phased strategy for achieving their ambitious goal of positioning St. Louis to be the most diverse innovation hub in the country by 2027. The Plan outlines the goals, programs, and investments needed to be made to rapidly scale the tech talent and entrepreneurship pipeline of the 15 county bi-state region.
